Privacy notice
Last updated 20 October 2026
Who we are
Agapay Systems Inc. (“Agapay”, “we”) builds and maintains business software in the Philippines. This notice explains what personal data we handle, why, and what you can do about it, in line with Republic Act No. 10173, the Data Privacy Act of 2012, and its implementing rules.
This website
This website does not use analytics, advertising trackers or marketing cookies. It does not have accounts or forms that store what you type. The email buttons open your own email app; nothing is sent until you press send there.
Like every website, the servers that deliver these pages keep short-lived technical logs (IP address, browser, pages requested, time) to keep the site running and secure. Our hosting provider processes these on our behalf.
When you write to us
If you email us, we keep your name, email address, company and what you wrote so we can reply and, if we work together, prepare a proposal. We do not sell it, rent it, or add you to a mailing list. We delete enquiries that did not lead to work after two years.
Our clients’ data
The systems we build, Ayon and Layag included, are installed for each client separately, usually on infrastructure the client controls. The client decides what data goes into the system and is the personal information controller for it. Where we maintain or support an installation, we act as a personal information processor: we only use the data to provide the service the client asked for, under a written agreement, and we keep access to the people who need it.
How we protect data
- Role-based access with deny-by-default permissions.
- Change history recording who changed what, and when.
- Encrypted connections, and daily backups kept apart from the live system.
- Separate installations per client, so one client’s data never shares a database with another’s.
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act you have the right to be informed, to access, to object, to correct, to erasure or blocking, to data portability, and to damages. If your data sits in a client’s system, we will pass your request to that client and help them answer it.
To use any of these rights, write to [email protected] with “Privacy” in the subject. We answer within 15 working days. If you are not satisfied, you may file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission at privacy.gov.ph.
Changes
If this notice changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
